(UltraMode7 is relatively mature, and compatible with. So I'm using UltraMode7 for the 3D effect instead. I am hoping for to have my picture 1 do the same thing as the mouse. I'm personally not using it since it's still actively being developed, (hasn't reached it's 1.0 version) and isn't compatible out of the box with other systems & plugins I'm using. You're right, I could use panoramas, and just get a script to lock them or whatever, it would take up as much space as a tileset would. if you want to click this as well on screen basic, it might be a bit trickier, but a mouse supper and conditional brances to check sceenXY are needed. Yeah guys I'm trying to do this for XP not VX Ace, sorry >.< I have Ace as well and would use it except the High Resolution DLL hasn't been released yet and my game needs to be in HD possible for RMXP. I think there is a RPG Maker MV plugin that allows you to do that, but IMO its not worth it. Ideally, I would like something like the plugins that feature the mouse being able to click on the event even if the player is not next to the event because they don’t use coordinates on the mouse to change the mouse to a different icon when they are hovering over the event. if you want pictures, you need 1 parallel event with x wait frame to grow and wait frames to shrink. It would be sad if the poor zombie was shot by let’s say…. Let’s say that the coordinates of the event on the 3D plain are also 150x 100y but the player is looking into the sky (not targeting the enemy). PLEASE only use this in private games where all parties have agreed to its use. The picture will remain in the middle of the screen even if the player looks up into the sky or down to the grass. I’m not a big fan of plugins if I can use events buuuuuuuut, since the events are in a 3 dimensional space and the show picture is strapped in a 2 Dimensional space, a space that has no depth, the coordinates will not match is what I thought to my self. Simply draw/paint/build the environment in whatever art program with a grid overlay, export the various art layers to sprites (I imagine things like trees have. I doubt there's a plugin for what I want-considering I'm using custom pictures.Thank you for replying to this post in fact that’s exactly what I was thinking of while I was at work, I’ve created so much with just events. This is a tutorial of one way to do Parallax Mapping (Basically, mapping with a program that isn't the game maker)using the TDDP BindPicturesToMap Plugin.I g. If there is already a tutorial out there for this sorry I missed it! I have no qualms about eventing all of this, it's what I'm trying to do already. RPG Maker, known in Japan as RPG Tsukru (RPG, sometimes romanized as RPG Tkool), is a series of programs for the development of role-playing video games (RPGs) with story-driven elements, created by the Japanese group ASCII, succeeded by Enterbrain. *Help-box to the middle-right of the screen (explains races, bonuses they give, classes and what they do, etc.) Enhance your game with this portable and affordable launch monitor that uses 3D Doppler Radar technology to provide users with accurate performance data. *how to switch from one menu to another (ex. Was also going to put in a help-box but I was just going to event that through pictures depending on what tab you were on -but considering I'm having so much trouble as if I'm nervous if that'll even work right! Additionally, I wanted to display the characters face (probably to the right of the screen) and I don't even know how to do that. ![]() How can I also event sub menus for the main menu? Should I use self switches and separate pages? At a near total loss. So I’ve been pondering the idea of using mv3d for the current project I’m working on. While working, you will want to turn Snap to Grid on and off depending on what youre doing. If you don’t know what Mv3d is, it’s a plugin for mv that renders your game in 3d. I also have a problem with that if I go one or more above the Up/Down variable I have to figure out how much I have to go back up/down to get back on the menu. For moving sprites around, you can go to Image -> Configure Grid to make the grid (48x48 for most MV stuff) then View -> Show Grid to see it and View -> Snap to Grid to make pens or selection rectangles snap to it. I tried following the same formula as William Unpro Pro did for picture menus in VX Ace but when I scroll up and down it is too fast, takes a second to load the image and it flashes between images on screen. I can't figure out how to get the menu working smoothly in MV. ![]()
